Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MySchoolOS, a cloud-based school management platform operated by MySchoolOS ("we", "us", or "our"). By registering for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

MySchoolOS is a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform designed for schools and educational institutions. Each registered school ("Tenant") receives an isolated environment accessible via a unique subdomain (e.g., schoolname.myschoolos.com). The platform provides tools for student management, attendance, examination, fees, reports, and SMS communication.

2. Account Registration

To use MySchoolOS, an authorized administrator of the school must register and create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorized parties.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Ensure that only authorized school staff access the platform.

3. Subscription and Billing

Access to MySchoolOS is provided on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are charged annually or as per the plan selected at the time of registration. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

• Subscriptions must be renewed before the expiry date to maintain uninterrupted access.
• A grace period of up to 7 days may be provided after expiry, at our discretion.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to revise subscription pricing with 30 days' prior notice.

4. SMS Services

MySchoolOS offers optional SMS communication features. SMS credits are purchased separately and credited to your school account. Credits are consumed per message sent based on the DLT-approved templates registered with the telecom authority.

• SMS credits are non-transferable between school accounts.
• Delivery of SMS messages is subject to telecom network conditions and DLT compliance.
• We are not responsible for non-delivery caused by incorrect recipient numbers or network failures.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MySchoolOS to:

• Upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data or our systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the platform.
• Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate school administration.
• Send unsolicited bulk SMS messages or spam through the platform.

6. Data and Privacy

Each school's data is stored in an isolated database and is not accessible to other tenants. We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data entered into the platform by your institution.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, emergency fixes, or events beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary unavailability. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• Your subscription lapses and is not renewed within the grace period.
• You violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
• Required by law or a competent authority.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, during which you may request an export.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MySchoolOS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
