MySchoolOS ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the schools and individuals who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When a school registers, we collect the school's name, address, administrator name, email address, phone number, and subdomain.

Student and Staff Data: Schools enter student records, staff information, attendance, examination results, and fee records into the platform. This data is entered and managed solely by the school's authorized administrators.

Payment Information: Payments are processed through Razorpay. We receive transaction identifiers and status; we do not store full card or bank account numbers on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages accessed, and timestamps for security monitoring and service improvement.

SMS Data: Phone numbers used to send SMS notifications are provided by the school. We do not use these numbers for any purpose other than sending the school-authorized messages.

We do not use school or student data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

Each registered school's data is stored in a dedicated, isolated database. No school can access another school's data. Our multi-tenant architecture enforces strict data separation at the infrastructure level.

Active school data is retained for the duration of the subscription. If a subscription is terminated and not renewed, data is retained for 30 days after which it is permanently deleted. Schools may request a data export before this period.
